The clubhouse, which had fallen into a sad state of affairs was cleaned out, cleaned up, painted, and received a new furnace.  The septic tank which had long been buried and covered by a slab of concrete was uncovered for a much needed clean out.  A covered riser was placed over the tank opening to provide a means of cleaning out the septic system in the future. The tank was then recovered with dirt.
Akards Hardware in Zionsville was kind enough to donate a nice assortment of tools that we would need to accomplish our goals.
This is one of the many write ups that our renovation project has been given in both the Lebanon Reporter and The Zionsville Sentinel Times in the last 2 years.  We are always happy with the exposure that we are given and the boost that it gives to our efforts.
We often receive calls from more people who would like to become involved after one of these articles is run.
