| I would like to give a personal note of "Thanks" to Mr. Tom Melind of the Zionsville Lions Club. Tom Melind willingly came on board at the very onset of the park renovation project, back when it was just an idea among a bunch of new Lions members, and he became our guiding light. Tom was instrumental in turning Zionsville's Lions Park into the beautiful centerpiece that it has become today, and he was able to offer a great deal of insight to a bunch of young guys who wished to do the same type of thing here in Whitestown. I wish to Thank Tom for being such an inspirational and motivational force for our club. He has always been there to lend a helping hand or to act as a sounding board for new ideas.
