--LOST AND FOUND--
If you have lost an item or found an item belonging to someone else please see a Lions Club
member, or board member.  The items will be kept in our main building at the park.
--Parking--
Please be considerate when parking your vehicle.  Try and minimize the space between your car and the one beside you.  We are having a problem with
people using more than 1 space, and some people are not able to  find a place to park as a result.  Please do not block in other cars.  We would also ask that
everyone refrain from parking in the grass.  We have obtained parking curbs to try and help minimize any confusion.  Traffic flow will now be ONE WAY
in the larger (west) lot, and parking will be at an angle.  We hope this helps.

BIG CHANGES FOR 2008
The Bi-county league (Perry Worth, Lizton, Dover, Wells,) has broken apart as a result of Dover and Wells joining with
Thorntown effectively forming a Western Boone League.  Lizton will probably partner with Tri-West.  Perry Worth is not
currently big enough to run a program completely in house and therefore needs to partner with another group.

Perry Worth has made the decision to partner with( be absorbed by) the Lebanon Little League. Games will still be played
at Whitestown's Lions Club Park but  Lebanon's Little League board (on which we will have a seat)  will be the controlling
body for the league.

We believe this partnership will get our kids the additional recognition they need if they decide to pursue sports through the
Lebanon School system.  It will also provide a chance for every player to be selected for an all-star team.  The Lebanon
Little League program is a sanctioned Little League Program so there are bound to be some changes to which we will need
to adapt.

A couple of major changes will be evident before the season even gets started.  Everyone will need to go through try outs,
and then be placed into a draft.  Each team will have 1 coach and 1 assistant coach and there is talk of allowing each coach
to "protect" a core of 4 team players who will not go into the draft.  This new partnership will result in as many as 50 teams
and will include tee-ball teams, which we have never had in the past.  We will also be playing against the new Western
Boone group, so we will still see many familiar faces during the season.
Coaches will now be required to attend CPR training, participate in a coaches clinic, and submit to a background check.
