The Whitestown Lions Club park has an open shelter house which
measures 20'x40' available for your next reunion, birthday party, company
picnic, or other function.  Your reservation will  include the use of our
restroom facilities which will be unlocked for your event.
Our playground and horseshoe area are located next to the shelter, with
the sand volleyball pit and new basketball court in close proximity.  We
also have 4 ball diamonds if you would like to play a friendly game of
baseball or softball during your stay.  The shelter is not far from the
parking lot, and we will allow you to pull a vehicle up to the shelter if you
need to drop off someone who is unable to make the short walk due to age
or handicap.  The reservation is only for the shelter and not the entire
park.  Ours is a community park for everyone's enjoyment and other
people/ families may be enjoying our facilities at the time of your
gathering.  The shelter house has lights and 1 electrical outlet.
Availibility is determined by the park director at the time of your request.

Cost: We are a non- profit club and we do not currently charge for the use of our open shelter house, but we do encourage you to
give the gift of a donation which will be used to cover costs for water use, restroom paper products, electricity, and lawnmower fuel.
People ofter ask if we have a recommendation for a donation amount and the answer is "no",  we prefer to let people use their
conscience as their guide with the knowledge that any donation will be used for the good and improvement of the park grounds.
